General George Patton

Me with General George Patton. His name would be familiar if we had all paid attention during history classes in secondary school. I know it rang a bell, when the local guide for Luxumbourg brought us to this American memorial just at Luxumbourg.

Apparently, the General had survived the world war. However, he died in a car accident. His wish was to be buried with his men. So they buried him here in Luxumbourg with his men.

Luxumbourg is a small country on its own, next to the Netherlands and all. It was a very nice day for us.
